We have been providing small business's and residential with all their computers needs, from repairs to new equipment, to networking since Febuary 2002. While some companies charge an hourly fee, where we charge an onsite fee of $100.00 plus a flat fee for all services. Plus a service contract for $150 per year or two years $225. The windows software that I support is windows  XP, Vista & windows 7. Right now windows 7 has the best performance, but it's very much like vista. However for windows 7 require more resources than XP and more hard disk space. Also I have the best software prices, unless microsoft is running a special through retail outlets. The best platform to run is the 64 bit configuration, but also requires a 64 bit motherboard, but this gives you the ability to use more memory, as with Windows 7 32 bit or x'86' will only use 2.5 GB of memory. Also besides running antivirus and malware protection, you need to have a secondary hard drive to backup all your system files and data using backup software, Norton ghost is the most commomly used. This way you can restore the complete system in the event your system get's contaminated with a virus or the system files get corrupted, saving you from re-installing eveything from scratch. This great software runs $70 but it's the best investment you will make saving a costly repair. I perform a backup of your system before restoring windows at no charge to ensure that none of your valuable data is lost, I don't know anyone else that does this for free.
